EEG

Electroencephalography (EEG)
is a technique used to detect the brain electrical activity using small, flat metal discs (electrodes in the 10-20 system) attached to the scalp. Given that the brain cells communicate via electrical impulses, differences in electric potentials can be non-invasively detected during overt activity, covert thoughts and/or even during sleep.
