EEG t-Tests (paired and unpaired)

EEG t-Tests (paired and unpaired)

EEG t-Tests (paired and unpaired)

It is often not possible to estimate reliably on the basis of two EEG curves the grand averages

of two groups or two experimental conditions, for example whether visible differences

are also statistically significant. Conversely, with examinations of a more exploratory nature,

it is often not possible to clearly ascertain from the available averages the intervals in which

the conditions or groups have particularly marked differences. In such cases, it can be very

useful to calculate t-values for the data. The t-Test transform can be used to calculate paired

and unpaired t-tests as well as t-tests

against 0.
